Disconnected from QuickBooks
The connection between Receipt Rabbit and your QuickBooks Online company has been terminated.
Receipt Rabbit no longer has access to your QuickBooks data. Its access tokens have been invalidated and it can no longer read from or write to your company file.
What this means
- Receipt Rabbit will not read your chart of accounts, bank feed transactions, or vendors.
- No new purchases or vendors will be created in QuickBooks.
- Automatic syncing has stopped. Receipts you scan from now on stay in Receipt Rabbit until you connect again.
- The stored QuickBooks tokens have been deleted from your iPhone's keychain.
What happens to your data
In QuickBooks
Nothing is removed. Purchases and vendors that Receipt Rabbit already created stay in your books exactly as they are. Disconnecting does not undo, reverse, or delete past syncs. If you want any of those records gone, delete them in QuickBooks yourself.
In Receipt Rabbit
Your receipts are untouched. They live on your iPhone and in your own iCloud account, not on our servers, and disconnecting QuickBooks doesn't affect them. Your scans, categories, tags, and archive all remain — and any other connected service, such as YNAB or Lunch Money, keeps working normally.
How to reconnect
You can reconnect at any time — no data is lost by disconnecting, and there's no waiting period.
- Open Receipt Rabbit on your iPhone.
- Go to the Sync tab.
- Find QuickBooks and tap Connect.
- Sign in to Intuit and choose the QuickBooks company you want to connect.
- Choose a default payment account, then wait a few seconds while your categories are re-matched to your chart of accounts.
Full instructions, including troubleshooting, are on the connect and reconnect page.
Didn't mean to disconnect?
No harm done — follow the steps above to connect again. If Receipt Rabbit appears disconnected and you didn't do it, access may have been revoked from the Intuit side; reconnecting resolves that too.
